eAccounts: Setup and Use

eAccount allows the user to have "pay down accounts" such as camper accounts or school programs.  The eAccount user has the ability to add a credit to the account and then from the register, tender to the account.  Register users must have permissions for this function.

Note:  eAccount is not visible unless there is a license key set up for it.

How to set up eAccount:

  1. Company Configuration
    1. Uses
      1. eAccount - Set to Yes
      2. eAccount Images - Optional
    2. eAccount Preferences
      1. Name of eAccount - Display Name
      2. Category 1 - Used to identify account
      3. Category 2 - Used to identify account
  2. Register Profile
    1. Allow eAccount - Checkbox
    2. (Optional) Move the Tender Button Order
  3. Add Speedkey
    1. Add "Quicktender to eAccount"
    2. Add "Lookup 'eAccount'"

Using eAccount:

  1. Adding an eAccount User
    1. Select the "Lookup eAccount" Speedkey.
    2. Select "Start Lookup" (Will populate all active eAccount users).
    3. Select "Add New".
    4. Enter required fields a dictated by red corner.
    5. If eAccount user has an opening balance, add from the "Account Tab".
    6. Save by selecting "Add New" and close.
  2. Closing an eAccount 
    1. If the balance is zero
      1. From the Camper lookup, select the eAccount user.
      2. Select "Close Account".
      3. From the statement, select "Close Account" again.
    2. If eAccount has available balance
      1. From the Camper lookup, select the eAccount user.
      2. Select "Close Account".
      3. After printing the statement, the balance can be refunded or donated.
      4. Adjust the balance in the back office and close the account.
  3. Reporting with eAccount
    1. eAccount Report
      1. From the register menu, select reports, "eAccount name" Report.
      2. Select the session.
      3. Print or view on screen.
